The waterproof (8000mm) material is breathable and windproof, it also has a full YKK zip complete with inside zip guard. The outside of the softshell jacket benefits from 2 zipped hand pockets and a right chest zip pocket for valuables, inside the jacket is a velcro tab pocket designed to hold a mobile phone. The micro fleece inner layer provides considerably more warmth than you would expect from such a lightweight jacket.
